Hi there dear people of the internet, I am here because
We are selling our beloved first-ever family car Edward aka Edy.
He is a hard-working guy from the rightly famous and loved Seat family, his family name is Ibiza.
Yup, Edward Ibiza the first.
He is a very reliable car, you can go up and down, on hills and farm roads without wasting a crumb from your pastizzi, and he can carry all your friends from the bocci klabb.
You can fit a big all-week worth of shopping into this little car including four packets of water, and some Twistees for the Netflix nights.
We enjoyed the public transport here for a few years, you know what I am talking about when I say we “enjoyed”, yes I am being sarcastic, and then we bought Edward, and he became family.
We took great care of him, and he returned the favor. We never needed to address any big issues, he never cost any additional money, we just filled him with Diesel and he was good to go.
I am not gonna lie he is maybe not the most handsome guy out there, if you are into just looks and varnish.
Yes, he is 22 years old, he is the wise old guy on the block.
All these years in the scorching sun and salty air left a mark on him.
And Tony, who went to Lidl and decided to scratch his back while we were away, Giacomo who won his driving license at the fair, and still tries to figure out how to park next to another car without touching it, and Pawlu who decided to scratch one side with his key while walking by, cause, well you know, it’s fun!
Lucky us, we were well aware of this trend here, so we bought a car to focus on the inside, a reliable one, and we let go of any expectations about the outside, simply because we prefer to chill than be crazy worried about some scratches while we are having fun at Ramla.
Edward is vegan, non-smoking, he/him, believes in equality, a feminist, and loves long romantic drives around the island, and sorry my American friends, but he got the manual gear.
In the Summer these romantic drives are preferably done by wind down windows because his AC is unfortunately not in working order, we wanted to repair it, and they said it was possible, but then we just never did, life gets in the way sometimes.
He is an extremely frugal guy, maybe there is a Scottish part hanging out somewhere in him, he is a world champion in fuel consumption, you’ll be happy and thankful you choose him as your travel companion.
All these fancy cars around him cost a fortune to service, and we only needed to buy one 17 euro part once during all these years.
So this is it, we are looking for a great new family for Edy, who is gonna love him as much as we did, and gonna take care of him, I promise he gonna pay it back 1000 times!
